for this project i wanted to work with feathers, specifically how Layering feathers can create a distinct flow Depending on the direction of the their Placement.

a polyester satin low-waisted skirt with an Asymmetrical bottom. Completely Covered in 170 long (ca 12 cm) faux black raven feathers, that when in contact with light has a Purple and green hue. because of the feathers specific placement then being brushed and steamed, they follow the shape of the body as well as elongate the hips proportions.

Theme

I wanted this skirt and photoshoot to Embrace my attraction to deep colors and the dark. thus adopting the personality of a solitary night owl, the modern Vampire; As she wanders the night with a Confidence and allure that would attract any passerby, she Purposefully walks down streets where no one will see her. her emotions are clear, Mannerisms Sporadic and her eyes Pierce.

She is the woman you see once while walking home and Reminisce about every time you see the moons light aluminate an empty street.
